ITT Tech Dedicates Breckinridge School of Nursing
In my IT career, I hired a number of ITT Tech graduates. I can honestly state that the quality of the education and the graduates is exceptional.
ITT Technical Institute continued its growth at the St. Petersburg Campus, dedicating the new Breckenridge School of Nursing Tuesday.
The Breckinridge School of Nursing is committed to helping men and women develop skills and knowledge they can use to pursue many opportunities in one of today's growing career fields.
I have been involved with both the Tampa and St. Petersburg ITT Tech campuses for over a decade serving on the volunteer Advisory Boards.

Campus Director Claudine Raschi hosted the ribbon-cutting, which included comments from Dr. David A. Weiland Director of Medical Education, Bayfront Medical Center, Chris Steinocher, President St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, State Representative Jim Frishe, and St. Petersburg City Council Member Wengay Newton.

Also in attendance were County Commissioner Neil Brickfield and City Council Chair Leslie Curran along with local and area business leaders.
The Breckinridge School of Nursing at the St. Petersburg Campus offers an Associates Degree in Nursing. New enrollment is limited to 30 students per session. Classes are small, and the educational experience is very personal.
They have constructed an entire new wing for the nursing program, with the latest technology and training tools.
There are a number of outstanding nursing schools in our area, and the Breckinridge School at ITT Tech provides another opportunity and option for those who are looking for a nursing career to get their education locally.
ITT Technical Institute has over 130 campuses in 37 states. Last year nationwide over 80,000 men and women were enrolled in the various programs offered by ITT Tech.
Primarily know for their technical training, Dr. Wieland pointed out what a great mix the nursing program at ITT Tech is as the health care field relies more and more on technology.
The health-care field will be growing rapidly over the next decade, so if you know someone or have a child or a friend that is interested in nursing as career, suggest they take a look at ITT Tech.
