Judge Day Rules Against The Save The Pier Petitioners
The Stop The LENS petition drive is the last remaining hurdle standing in the way of the LENS design for a Pier replacement.
The Tampa Bay Times is reporting that Pinellas County Judge Jack Day has ruled in favor of the City in the Kathleen Ford filed case for the Save the Pier Group.
Judge Day has ruled the petition did not provide a basis sufficient to compel Charter amendment referendum and that demolition of the Pier requires no referendum.
This leaves the Stop The LENS petition drive as the last remaining hurdle standing in the way of the LENS design for a Pier replacement.
