bad dog owners

 My community has a very un safe issue at hand. We have many loose aggressive dogs killing community cats, wildlife and harming leash walked dogs. The saddest part is the same resident has had 2 dogs in January 2013 euthanized. These 2 pit bulls dug a hole under my fence , MY 6 FT FENCE and killed kittens that were promised to young kids for academic excellence.Animal services came out took possession of those dogs and euthanized them { KILLED THEM}, now this same resident has 2 more pit bulls mean and ornery as the first 2. Killing on the streets again.I am so scared for my life and the children that travel that dogs way.It is really out of control. scenario Lady walking her little pomeranian ON A LEASH. pit bull pulls little dog into the fence. came from nowhere and almost kills pomeranian. The owner of the pit bulls son had to literally shake the little dog from the pits mouth. Thank goodness that youg man was there.I called SPPD and was told NO they will not respond without animal services on the scene. After hours on a friday I called animal services which will not respond with out SPPD. LoL Talk about politics and public safety. The city knows all about that deal..Animal services of course is investigating. 12 loose aggressive dogs in my area. same dogs. I have followed them and have gave animal services some addresses which is being handled by the County. Our city needs to put a plan of training in action for our officers.Each officer should be issued a catch pole and learn how to utilize it. This is unacceptable in a city as large as ours. Our Mayor and Chief turn a blind eye. When a child is killed and a big lawsuit is placed on the city it could ruin our finances in this city. Who wants to vote for a Mayor who does nothing and a Chief who hides behind the mayors coat tails. Something has got to be done about these loose aggressive dogs! A kid could be killed before a new mayor is elected in.It is getting worse.
