Council Aware of issues on Central Ave and outwardly in the surrounding neighborhoods

City Council has ignored our pleas for crime prevention along Central Ave for over 4 years, we live on 2nd Ave, the homelessness, the drinking, the drugs at the bus stop and car wash on 16th st. n. has been on going for years and continues to be a blight on our neighborhood. There is a lot owner that refuses to put in gates on his permit event lot, the City is aware of the violation and does nothing. We wish the empty lot owner across from our home would put in a 6ft. fence entirely fencing out the homeless, drug dealers, including the baseball fans that relieve themselves after every game, on our fence, etc... Gary Bush with Codes refuses to enforce Chapter 16 on this lot owner, all the crime, etc... We've endured has access our property via the event lot violating chapter 16 no fencing issues, we wish we had a 6ft fence to protect us and our property, you all with the fences 6ft high secured and locked have it made you all should consider yourselves lucky. When you push the unwanted off of Central where do you think they go, 1st. Ave, 2nd Ave, Burlington, yet the police and City ignore it. The Event Lot between 1st Ave N. and 2nd Ave N. West of 16th St. N. can't miss it, not entirely fenced in. Violating Statues of Chapter 16 Parking Lot Load Desgin and Standards. The only reason for the new attention to Central Ave N. is due to Leslie Curran having a business now at 15th St. N. and Central. Now that it affects Leslie Curran and her business lets do something about it, but the folks dealing with the homeless man living illegal in an alley in their neighborhood can go to Heck and Back, The entired Council is aware of the homeless man allowed to live illegally in our neighborhood and no one has done anything about it, codes, police and even Mayor Foster knows and does nothing. Mayor Foster visited the homeless man in his hovel with us one day a few years ago, and yet the homeless man remains and you all are worried about Central Ave the homeless man lives two blocks away, what kind of traffice does this promote on Central Ave? We can show you pictures of homeless men visiting this homeless man daily and drinking beer, where does the City think the homeless pee, right in the alley! Little Rhime to lighten the mood!

Come see for yourself, homeless man lives in a hovel in an alley behind 1742 Burlington Ave N. you'll have to look in the alley behind a bamboo chain link fence gate, or just hollar C.J. and he homeless man will answer then invite you in his hovel while he drinks beer in the a.m.... Really do you believe our Council Members really care about us. Oh, and the guy who threatened us with telling Mayor Foster what we said, tell Mayor Foster this one please!
