Sunshine Protection Act

http://www.wftv.com/videos/weather/florida-bill-calls-for-permanent-daylight-saving/vCPrTp/?icmp=cmg...Keeping daylight savings time year round has many benefits for Florida. and this bill was introduced to keep it and died in Community affairs, May 2, 2014 around 10:30 in the evening. Never even got up for a vote. Guess they wanted to go home. See video on benefits at bottom of this post.
I contacted Bill Soto's office and was told by his clerk, sometimes it's just if they have too many other things to address at the time, etc. BUT CAN BE RE INTRODUCED, if enough interest is conveyed to BILL SOTO. They had received a few calls so far. This is a shame a thing can get dropped like this.
