Selling flowers must be a sweet-smelling job. Cutting, arranging and sending out flowers must make the store clerk or manager just feel good at the end of the day. It's the opposite of, say, handing out traffic tickets. The public nearly always leave feeling pleased.
Having a favorite flower seller makes life easier -- someone who can be counted on to have the freshes roses, the coolest tropical plants and the niftiest arrangements.

We'll announce the winner Friday. The shop will get a certificate of appreciation.
