Ten people were arrested on 23 various drug charges by multiple Pinellas law enforcement agencies in a drug sting Friday night.
Three of the people arrested are suspected gang members and another is set for deportation.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, over the past several months, law enforcement agencies, including the Sheriff's Office, St. Pete Police and Largo Police, had conducted investigations and listened to the community regarding concerns over drug problems and criminal activity in their neighborhoods.
Friday night several of these concerns were addressed and multiple drug dealers and career criminals throughout the county are now behind bars.
Law enforcement personnel began the evening in the Coral Way neighborhood off Ulmerton Road, west of Belcher Road. After making several arrests in this area, they moved to other neighborhoods and apartment complexes throughout the evening.
