Deputies Search for St. Pete Purse Thief

The purse was stolen from the Boardwalk Tavern at 2600 54th Ave.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is searching for three people who they say stole a purse inside a St. Petersburg bar. 

According to detectives, around 11:32 p.m., Sept. 12, the suspect entered the Boardwalk Tavern at 2600 54th Ave. and stole the victim's purse while inside the establishment.

Authorities said the suspect was seen with two other people, a male and female, while in the bar.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6'0" tall, medium build with a crew cut style haircut, wearing a black t-shirt and jean shorts.
