Flight to St. Pete-Clearwater Airport Makes Emergency Landing

No one was injured after the Allegiant Air flight bound for St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport was forced to make an emergency landing in Georgia.

A flight bound for the St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport was forced to make an emergency landing in Georgia on Sunday night, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The 155 passengers of the Allegiant Air Flight 863 were told to evacuate the plane after "the pilots had an indication of a possible fire in the cargo hold," an airline spokesperson told the Times.

No one was injured.

WFLA.com posted a video of passengers exiting the plane via an inflatable slide following the emergency landing.

The flight was en route from Cedar Rapids, IA, and landed in Albany, GA, the newspaper reports.
