Gas Station Robbed, Police Search for Suspect

St. Petersburg Police need year help locating an armed robbery suspect.

St. Petersburg Police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect that robbed the Mobil Gas Station at 10021 4th St. on Aug. 16.

Police said the suspect entered the gas station, removed a gun from his waistband and pointed it at the clerk while demanding money.

Once given the cash, police said the suspect fled on foot on 4th Street North.

No getaway vehicle was seen.  

The suspect is described as black male in his 20's, 5'9, 170lbs with a full beard, black shirt and blue jeans. He is armed with a semi-automatic handgun, police said. 

St. Petersburg Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect in this case.  Anyone with information can call the non-emergency number at 727-893-7780, Text-A-Tip to 727-420-8911 or leave a confidential tip at 727-892-5000.
