Man Arrested After Allegedly Attacking Rays Mascot

Trevor Martin, 27, was arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication.

According to a report by WTSP, a Massachusetts man was arrested Wednesday night for allegedly attacking the Tampa Bay Rays Mascot, Raymond at the Rays vs. Red Sox game.

Trevor Martin, 27, of Needham, Mass., was arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication. He was released from jail on a $100 bond. 

"St. Pete Police say Trevor Martin, from Massachusetts, twice reached over the railing and grabbed Raymond around the neck and pulled him back toward the railing," the WTSP report said.

"Witnesses, which included several Tropicana Field employees and fans, said, each time, Raymond had to push Martin off of him to break free from his grasp."
