Charles Ross has filmed himself on Anna Maria Island kissing strangers, doing the trust test with strangers and even panhandling in reverse by giving people dollars on street corners because he's doing well. His videos have received hundreds of thousands of hits on YouTube, but his latest stunt apparently went too far.

Ross was arrested Jan. 13 on charges of battery with non-serious injury. He was released on a $750 bond.

Vacuum Cleaner Attack Lands Man In Jail

A Holiday man was arrested after Pasco County deputies said he struck his girlfriend's son with a vacuum cleaner.

The victim had injuries "consistent with being hit with an upright vacuum cleaner," according to a deputy's report.

Skye Edward Compfort, 40, said he couldn't remember the beating. He was taken to a local hospital for medical clearance on suspicion of Xanax intoxication, then transferred to the Land O 'Lakes jail.

Compfort was charged Jan. 14 with simple battery, possession of drugs without a prescription and introduction/possession of contraband in a detention facility.

A Land O' Lakes teen is accused of using some mixed martial arts moves on his mother and sister after he had his cellphone taken away.

According to a Pasco County complaint affidavit, the 16-year-old choked, kicked and performed MMA  moves on his sister, then chased his mother and "placed her in a physically restraining MMA move."

The teen, whose name is being withheld because of his age, was arrested and taken to the juvenile assessment center without incident.
