Police say the victim was stabbed to death and the suspect is in custody. The incident took place at 2860 1st Ave. S.

St. Petersburg Police are investigating a homicide that occurred Tuesday morning at 2860 1st Ave. S.

According to police, the victim was stabbed in the chest and taken to Bayfront Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect, police said, was taken in and arrested without incident.

Police said they received an initial 911 call at about 9:41 a.m., which said that a person had been stabbed at 2860 1st Ave. S., and the male suspect was still inside the home armed with a knife.

When police arrived they took the suspect into custody without incident and the knife was recovered.

Multiple witnesses at the residence told police that the victim and suspect became involved in an argument, which resulted in the suspect stabbing the victim in the upper body.

Police said it appears that both the suspect and the victim reside at the home.

Names of the suspect and victim have not been released.

I love Kahwa coffee and the nice folks that own and run it. They have been great citizens of St.Read More Pete. If you have not tried it, you should do so.
