Two Shot in Mobile Home Park; Suspect Arrested

Pinellas County Deputies arrested and charged Francis James Bahr with two counts of attempted first degree murder. A second suspect is sought.

A St. Petersburg man is charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, after allegedly shooting two people in a carport at the Sunshine Mobile Home Park, 7403 46th Ave. N. 

The victims, Rosa Pereira, 42, and David Sharp, 46, suffered life-threatening injuries from gunshot wounds to the upper body. 

Francis James Bahr was arrested by detectives today for the shooting, which occurred just after 5:30 a.m. Saturday.

The victims were in the carport of their mobile home when they were shot.

According to the Sheriff's Office report, detectives learned that Bahr wanted a relationship with Pereira, and she was not interested. She was living with Sharp, a new boyfriend.

Authorities say a second suspect may have been with Bahr at the time of the shooting. While detectives have identified and are seeking the second suspect, they are not releasing any additional information until that suspect is located.
