Closing Comments from City Council Candidates
The primary is Aug. 27 and the general election is in November.
Watch the above videos for closing comments from the District 2 and 6 city council candidate forum held Wednesday night at the Sunshine Senior Center.
Council member Jim Kennedy and Lorraine Margeson are running for District 2. Incumbent Karl Nurse is running against Trevor Mallory and Sharon Russ for the District 3 city council seat.
The Aug. 27 primary will have District 6 on the ballot while District 2 will only be on the November ballot because there are only two candidates.
