Councilor Jim Kennedy Caught Sleeping at Council Meeting?
The District 2 council member was filmed sleeping during a recent St. Petersburg city council meeting.
A YouTube user, toungq, has apparently caught St. Petersburg City Council Distrct 2 member Jim Kennedy allegedly nodding off and catching a few Z's during council's June 6 council meeting.
"This is just one of the amazing things you see when visiting council," the YouTube user wrote on the video, which is titled 'Jim Kennedy Pondering Difficult Topics'.
In the video, which shows Kennedy rocking back and forth in his chair with his eyes closed, you can hear Mayor Bill Foster and council chair Karl Nurse talking about housing programs in St. Pete.

A user identified as District 8 city council candidate Steve Galvin posted, "how rude to not even pay attention," in the comments section of the video.
