District 4, 8 City Council Candidates to Debate Wednesday
The forum will feature council candidates for Districts 4 and 8 and begins at 6:30 p.m. The St. Petersburg primary election is Aug. 27.
Wednesday night, city council candidates for Districts 4 and District 8 will square off in a Patch/CONA sponsored forum at the Sunshine Center.
District 4 candidates include Richard Eldridge, Carolyn Fries, Dr. David McKalip and Darden Rice.
For District 8, the candidates are Robert Davis, Alex Duensing, Amy Foster and Steve Galvin.
Both council district races do not feature an incumbent as District 4 council member Leslie Curran and District 8 council member Jeff Danner are term limited.
The League of Women Voters is moderating the forum.
The Patch/CONA forum begins at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Sunshine Center, 330 5th St. N.
According to the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections' website, this is the last mayoral or council candidate forum before the Aug. 27 primary.
