Romney Coming to St. Pete Pier Friday

Gov. Mitt Romney will make a campaign stop at the St. Petersburg Pier Friday at 5:45 p.m.

GOP presidential nominee Gov. Mitt Romney will make a campaign stop at the St. Petersburg Pier  Friday

According to the Romney camp, doors will open 3:45 p.m., with the event beginning at 5:45 p.m. It will take place at the Pier Park, at 550 2nd Ave. NE St.  

All attendees, according to a news release, will go through airport-like security and should bring as few personal items as possible.

No bags, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids, or signs will be allowed in the venue. Cameras are permitted.

To enter, you must have a ticket. To get one of the free tickets, RSVP online. You can register up to eight people at a time.
