St. Pete Mayoral, Council Candidate Debates

There are nearly a dozen St. Pete council and mayoral candidate forums leading up to the Aug. 27 primary.

Below is a list of future mayoral and council candidate debates. All information is from the current list of scheduled forums on the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections' website. 

Patch will update this article throughout the election season when new forums are announced. 

Future Council and Mayoral Candidate Forums in St. Pete

  • July 9: Disston Heights Civic Association will be hosting a St Pete City Council District 8 Forum at 7 p.m. at St Petersburg Community Church, 4501 30th Ave. N.
  • July 10: The Historic Kenwood Neighborhood Association is hosting a council candidate forum. There will be voter registration from 6:30 - 7 p.m. and the council candidate forum begins at 7 p.m. at the Metro Wellness Center, 3251 3rd Ave. N. 
  • July 10: Tiger Bay hosts a mayoral candidate debate at 12 p.m. at the The St. Petersburg Yacht Club, 11 Central Ave.
  • July 13: St. Pete Democratic Clubs is hosting a Mayoral and Districts 4, 6 and 8 forum. It starts at 11 a.m. at the Sanderlin Center, 2335 22nd Ave. S. 
  • July 17: CONA and Patch are hosting a forum for District 2 and 6. The forum begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Sunshine Center, 330 5th St. N.
  • Aug. 5: Harris Neighborhood Association hosts mayoral and District 4 candidates. The forum begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Roberts Community Center, 1246 50th Ave. N.
  • Aug. 12: The Northeast Park Neighborhood Association hosts its second forum, this time it will be mayoral candidates. The forum begins at 7 p.m. at the Masonic Home of Florida, 3201 1st St. NE.
  • Aug. 20: The Crossroads and Azalea Neighborhood Associations will hosts a forum for mayoral candidates at 7 p.m. at the Azalea Baptist Church, 7900 22nd Ave. N. 
  • Aug. 21: Patch and CONA are sponsoring their second forum, this time it will be for District 4 and 8 council candidates. The forum begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Sunshine Center, 330 5th St. N
