High Schools Change Graduation Ceremonies Due to Storm

St. Pete High and Lakewood High have made the following changes to their graduation ceremonies.

There's an uninvited guest at St. Petersburg high school graduations, and officials are having to make some changes to the ceremonies. But they will go on for the Class of 2013!

  • Lakewood High School will hold its graduation ceremony tonight (June 6) at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 1900 Gandy Blvd, St. Petersburg. The graduation had been scheduled to take place on the football field. Now it will be indoors.

All students are asked to report to First Baptist Church at 5:30 p.m. for a walkthrough practice.

This will be a ceremony for the entire senior class together.
