Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl Sets 2013 Date

The annual bowl game will take place Dec. 23 at Tropicana Field.

The 2013 Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 23 at Tropicana Field.

According to the bowl, the game will air live on ESPN and will feature teams from the American Athletic Conference (formerly the Big East) and Conference USA.

"I feel the change in date and time work to our advantage from a timing standpoint as school is out and the majority of the workforce in the Tampa Bay area take this time off from work," said Brett Dulaney, Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg Executive Director in a news release. "The date also benefits the competing schools fan-bases as many of the bowl's surrounding festivities will now be held during the weekend."
