1. LL Cool J at the Trop

Hip-hop artist and actor LL Cool J will be performing this Saturday after the Tampa Bay Rays take on the Baltimore Orioles. The game begins at 4:10 p.m. with LL Cool J's performance following. The show is included with a ticket to the game, but fans can purchase a wristband for field access during the concert for an additional $27.50.

2. Downtown Digital

Starting at noon Saturday, the Downtown Digital Festival takes over Jannus Live. Jannus Live hosts this 12-hour event for lovers of all kinds of electronic music. "We’ll be mixin’ it up with some breakbeat, dubstep, hip-hop and more. Live music and DJs makes this a sick all-round, all-day party for everyone," Jannus Live says. Tickets are $25. 

3. Seminole Jam

Florida State Seminole fans can head to Jannus Live Friday night to celebrate all things Florida State. The Pinellas Seminole Club and the Seminole Boosters Inc. present a night of celebration, food, cocktails, a sports auction, music and fun for kids. ACC Championship Head Coach Leonard Hamilton and ACC Coach of the Year Gene Deckerhoff will attend. There is a Seminole program from 6 to 8 p.m. Live entertainment including Chris McCarty follows until 11pm. Tickets are $10 in advance and $20 at the door. 

4. First Friday

Enjoy music in the street as the Breakfast Optimist Club of St. Petersburg turns a portion of Central Avenue in downtown St. Pete into a block party. The free party runs from 5:30 - 10 p.m. Food and beer vendors line the streets with the stage at 3rd Street and Central Avenue. 

5. Williams Park Summer Market

Last week was the downtown Market's last week at Al Lang Field until next fall. Starting this Saturday, the market moves to Williams Park, which is located just off 1st Avenue North. Starting at 9 a.m., you can find fresh and organic produce, eggs, gourmet meats and cheeses, delectable desserts and breads, along with ethnic favorites, arts and crafts, jewelry and more. On-street metered parking available, as well as nearby garages and surface lots.
