1. St. Pete Pride

Join the fun this weekend in the Grand Central District for the 10th annual St. Pete Pride festival. The 10th Annual St. Pete Pride Street Festival and Promenade is the largest diversity and tolerance celebration in Florida. More than 80,000 people are expected to attend this event, which features floats from clubs, organizations, social groups, and businesses, as well as dancing, beads, food and fun. After the parade, enjoy the street festival featuring vendors from across the state. The parade begins at 9 a.m. 

2. Tampa Bay Rays

The Tampa Bay Rays are back in town to take on the Detroit Tigers Friday through Sunday.  On Saturday, the Rays Turn Back the Clock,' against the Tigers with a 70's-era hypothetical uniform at 7:15 p.m. and a post-game concert featuring Grammy Award-winning supergroup Earth, Wind and Fire.

3. Tampa Bay Rowdies

At 7:30 Saturday night, head to downtown St. Petersburg at Al Lang Field to watch professional soccer. That night, the Tampa Bay Rowdies take on FC Edmonton. Tickets are $14 and can be purchased online or at the Al Lang box office. 

4. Florida Days at the Pier

This Saturday celebrate Florida and the Pier from 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. at the St. Petersburg Pier. There will be a pair water ski shows at noon and 2 p.m. There will also be an alligator and python show, music from local artists, free Florida oranges and Florida seafood. And yes, there will be an "Ugly Florida Hawaiian Shirt" contest. 

5. Chevelle at Jannus

Rock group Chevelle, known for their hit "The Red" will be rocking out at Jannus Live Sunday ... and it's free. While the show is free, you must have a ticket. Tickets can be picked up at various 97x locations, which can be found online. A ticket doesn’t guarantee admission. You must arrive early on the day of the show to get in, according to the station. All guests must be 21 or older.
