All Children's to Host Homecoming Dance for Patients

The dance is from 7 - 10 p.m. Saturday at the hospital's education and conference center. It will include a red carpet entrance, music and food and drinks.

All Children’s Hospital is known for going the extra mile to make sure its patients don’t forget what it’s like just to be a kid.

Spider-Man paid a visit to the hospital while washing windows, a clown school is held and players from the Rays and participants from the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl stop by and sign autographs.

Now, the hospital is hoping to help recreate a high school tradition for its patients —homecoming.

Saturday night, All Children's Hospital will host its first Homecoming dance for its patients who are unable to attend their own homecoming due to "hospitalization or who, due to life-limiting illness, will most likely never get the opportunity."

At 11 a.m. Saturday, professional hair, makeup and nail stylists will be dropping by the hospital to give attendees a complete make over.
