Mike Alstott Foundation Brings Joy to All Children's Hopsital

The annual event allows children at the facility to make their own stuffed animal, filled with love and a wish.

During the off-season of 2007, Mike and Nicole Alstott created the Mike Alstott Foundation. According to the website, the sole mission of the organization is to "uplift the minds, hearts and spirits of families and children."

Events like the Sports Buddies Day and the Redneck Golf Tournament bring smiles to families each year.

For the fifth year in a row, Mike and Nicole Alstott visited on Valentine's Day. The foundation joins with Noah's Ark Animal Workshop to bring a special occasion to the facility. Kids are given the opportunity to choose an empty plush animal, stuff it and love it.

Before the stuffed animal is stitched up, each child is given a tiny star to wish on before inserting it into the toy.

The Alstotts joined in the toy-making extravaganza with each child, sharing smiles and laughter. Mike Alstott signed autographs and took photos for young fans and their families.
