1. Rays vs Orioles
As the Tampa Bay Rays playoff push continues, the Baltimore Orioles come to Tropicana Field with the same goal this weekend — securing a wildcard spot. Friday's game begins at 7:10 p.m., Saturday at 1:05 p.m. and Sunday at 1:40 p.m. Tickets are available online at TampaBayRays.com.
2. Billy Cobham at the Palladium
Legendary jazz drummer Billy Cobham will be performing at the Palladium Theater Friday. "Panamanian American jazz drummer, composer and bandleader Billy Cobham will celebrate the 40th anniversary of his first solo album, Spectrum 40, bringing his groundbreaking “explosive power and exacting precision” to St. Pete, a news release said. The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets start at $30. Tickets can be purchased online at myplladium.org.
3. Tampa Bay Rowdies
Soccer is back in downtown St. Petersburg this weekend as your Tampa Bay Rowdies take on the Atlanta Silverback at Al Lang Stadium. The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the game start at $16 for general admission, which can be purchased at the Al Lang box office or online.
4. Fashion for Education Fundraiser
As part of the St. Pete Art and Fashion Week, artists will be raising money for education Friday night at One Progress Plaza. The event will be, "an exclusive art charity event to raise funds for Morning Star School. The evening includes art showcases, cocktails, and silent auction," a news release said. "Art & Cocktails for a Cause" is from 6-10 p.m. and tickets are $20.
5. Pinellas County College Fair
Speak with admissions representatives from more than 80 universities across the country Sunday at he the Pinellas County College Fair. Hosted at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg Student Center, the fair begins at 1 p.m. Free parking is available in the USF St. Pete parking garage, 250 5th Ave. S.
