Patch Minute: What's Going On Near You This Weekend?

Welcome to Patch Minute, your guide to the weekend's biggest events.

It's the second weekend of the month of July so there are several events going on.

On Friday, Downtown Dunedin Merchant's Association will put on its monthly Wine and Arts Walk. Shops and businesses will stay open late for your convenience. Enjoy music by Ed Schmidt and Keith Schaier at 5:30 p.m. and at 8:30 be part of the prize drawing in Pioneer Park. You must purchase a $10 wristband to be eligible for the drawing.

St. Pete Art Trolley and Gallery walk takes place Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The trolley will stop at several galleries, warehouses and studios along 1st Avenue N to 10th Avenue S. A full list of stops can be found here.

Also that night is Swing Dance Saturdays at the Largo Community Center. Admission is $7 and the event takes place from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Resident DJ Savoy Swing will be spinning tunes.

There's plenty to do this weekend so go out and enjoy it!
