American Stage is a Gem! Their productions are wonderful. So convenient, and affordable for St Pete residents. Especially when they have their "Pay what you want" performances :) Looking forward to going again Sunday night to see "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom".

Attendance at American Stage Theatre Company has soared since it moved into new digs at the Raymond James Theatre, just a block south of Bay Walk. The new theater space is in the same building as St. Petersburg College's downtown campus.
Parking is convenient, because Synovus Bank lets patrons use its parking lot for free during performances; it is one block away, on 3rd Street. Also, St. Petersburg College's parking garage is open to patrons for $5 on Friday night, Saturdays and Sundays.
