Owner Karen DeVlaming of Beautiful Transitions opened the St. Petersburg store in late 2007 as a means to better serve south Pinellas County. Beautiful Transitions aims to make cancer patients look and feel beautiful during their transitions. The shop offers a variety of wigs and turbans for chemo patients, hundreds of mastectomy bras in different colors and sizes, mastectomy swimwear, and custom breast prostheses. After hours and weekends are by appointment only. Beautiful Transitions is certified by the American Board of Certification Orthotics and Prosthetics and is a proud sponsor of the American Cancer Society and Gulfcoast Oncology Foundation.
