We Chose Canterbury for our daughter, currently in 1st Grade, for many reasons. Outstanding Academics, Solid Character Education Program, Small Class Size & Arts Programs. In our two years at Canterbury our choice has been reaffirmed many times over. The strong Community at Canterbury is the best environment we could imagine for our child.
She recently said to me " Mommy, I want to go to Canterbury till I graduate" . Good Choice:)

Our son attend Pre-K at Canterbury. It is a fabulous school with such a wonderful focus on the complete education - mind, body and charachter. The technology cannot be beat and the students receive everything that they need from Canterbury to become successful, well-rounded adults.
Canterbury is an amazing school. We moved our daugher to Canterbury a few months ago and it is a great fit. In addition to rigorous intruction for the fundamentals, she has enrichment courses including Spanish, Mandarin, Marine Science, Art, Music, Violin and Library. She has recess at least once every day, which is essential for learning process. In additon to academics, building character is a part of every day life here. The school offers a very well-rounded education and treats my daughter as an individual, addressing her specific needs, yet making her a part of a much bigger family community. And she told me the other day while making Valentine's, "Oh, all the kids love each other at Canterbury." Can't beat that!
We have 2 children on the Hough Campus, and have been here for 4 years. The teachers and staff bring out the very best in each student, partnering with parents to ensure they succeed not only in the classroom, but as individuals with integrity, manners, and respect for others. You will not find a better blend of stellar academics, enrichment (science, marine science, language, art, music), appreciation of global cultures (kudos for International Studies), extra activities and hands on learning, and personal character development. Every year I think it cannot be better than the last, yet it is. It is a school that values the family, service to community and country, and the unique amazing nature of each child. The upper campus is just as wonderful. Want smiling kids who love school and succeed? Come see all the smiles at Canterbury...
Both my children (now in Kindergarten and Grade 2) have been at Canterbury since PreK. The small class sizes mean personal attention for my kiddos, which I love. They have amazing technology in every classroom (SmartBoards, iPod touches, etc.), but the character education is what really sold me on the school. The teachers not only teach things like responsibility, perseverance and individuality--they LIVE it. All the students here are just plain GOOD kids. Also love all the experiential learning (on- and off-campus field trips!!!) to keep learning fun.

I attended school at the Canterbury Hough campus as a child and now my sons also attend. I received a great education and felt I was part of something special. Now I see my kids taking great pride in THIER school. We love the fact that as parents were encouraged to be involved in school activities. The faculty is full of positive, warm and loving people that help nuture our children into adults of great character. Highly reccomended!
