I have achalasia and had the Heller Myotomy surgery in 2004. I went from not being able to eat orRead More drink (even water!) without pain to almost eating "normally" again; from waking up almost every night regurgitating on food that never made it to my stomach, to sleeping like a rock; from having chest pain similar to a heart attack a couple times a week, to not having any since the surgery. I can't recommend this surgery enough, and I'm so glad to read that so many are willing to help Bill pay for it. It truly will change his life, and I encourage anyone who is able to help any way that you can. -Kim B., Erie, PA
