St. Pete Police Searching For Hit-and-Run Driver
A man was seriously injured Tuesday night when a Cadillac or Lincoln hit him as he was crossing 34th Street North at 32nd Avenue, authorities said.
St. Petersburg Police are searching for a driver responsible for a hit-and-run that left a man seriously injured Tuesday night. The victim, who has not been identified, was crossing 34th Street North at 32nd Avenue just after 9 p.m. when he was hit by a car headed south, according to a news release. The man was taken to Bayfront Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said. According to witnesses, the vehicle — described as a 1980s or early '90s Cadillac or Lincoln, grey or silver in color — fled the scene without stopping. Police say the car will have damage to its right front corner and right side, as well as possible damage on the hood and front windshield.
