Target Stores Announce Black Friday Hours, Deals

The stores will open earlier this year for Black Friday shoppers.

Target will be pulling an all-nighter come Black Friday Eve. The store announced this week that they will open at 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22 with select Black Friday savings. The store will begin offering additional Doorbuster sales at 4 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 23. In Clearwater, that means you can head over to our Super Target at Clearwater Mall right after you finish off that Thanksgiving dessert. Midnight Madness Plans Revealed For Ellenton Premium Outlets

Black Friday will begin as early as 9 p.m. Thanksgiving night and will continue through Nov. 25.

Ellenton Premium Outlets is getting ready for thousands of shoppers expected to descend on the outlet mall after Thanksgiving dinner next week. Snowbirds, area residents and visitors are all expected to begin their bargain hunting during the midnight madness sale Friday through Sunday. The outlet stores will be offering early bird specials, doorbusters and weekend long savings. Several shops at Ellenton Premium Outlets, 5461 Factory Shops Blvd., will open as early as 9 p.m. Thanksgiving night and they have already released a list of some of the deals offered to shoppers. Retailers to Begin Black Friday Sales on Thanksgiving

Walmart, Target and Kmart included in turkey day sales.

If you have a black belt in Black Friday shopping, listen up: Area big-box retailers are gearing up to dazzle bargain hunters even earlier this year—starting Thanksgiving Day. Walmart, Target and Kmart are planning all-out holiday shopping assaults. Beginning at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, Walmart will offer holiday gifts for the entire family, while supplies last. That includes an electric scooter for $79, a steam mop for $39 or men's jeans for $9.50. Back on the Block for Small Biz Saturday

The 600 Block is the place to be for Small Business Saturday today, after competing against the Big Boy chains on Black Friday.

Local businesses are urging folks to keep their holiday spending in the family. That means: local. Shop Local on Black Friday

'Black Market' is a shop-local event on Black Friday in St. Petersburg. It is seeking vendors for a pair of events.

ST. PETERSBURG – Local businesses are encouraging people to shop local for the holidays. Instead of going to big-name, anonymous chains on Black Friday, why not keep the money closer to home? St. Pete-based designer Brianna Kole decided to make her own Black Friday event, except she calls it "Black Market." A plus to this shopping opportunity is that it happens not once, but twice. Black Market will take place on Friday, Nov. 25, and Dec. 16, from 7:30-11 p.m. The event will feature locally made items, such as jewelry, handcrafted dolls and handsewn wallets.
