Five Things to Know About First Night St. Pete

Here is a quick rundown of need-to-know info for St. Pete's biggest party of the year.

1. Fireworks There are two sets of fireworks shows Monday night. The first booms begin at 9 p.m. The grand finale begins at midnight. Both shows are from the Vinoy Basin. Make sure to get downtown early to get a good spot to watch the spectacular shows. 2. Can I Still Get First Night Admission Buttons? Yes. Buttons are available today at all venues where First Night Performers and/or Activities are scheduled. The main information booth for First Night is located on the South End of the Museum of Fine Arts. There are no more online sales. Buttons are $10.  3. Where to Park Parking will be at a premium NYE as thousands of people will be coming to downtown St. Pete. City parking garages will be charging $5 per vehicle on New Year's Eve. There…

First Night Celebrates 20th Year

The festivities of the 20th annual First Night St. Pete kick off at 5 p.m. Dec. 31 in downtown St. Pete.

On New Year's Even in St. Pete, amid the live music, obligatory toasts and boom of fireworks, First Night St. Pete will be celebrating a milestone.  When the festivities kick off next Monday, First Night will officially be in its 20th year as an event in St. Pete.  First Night Schedule of Events: Monday night's party will feature headlining performances from Macy Kate, DJ BabyChino and Michael Lynche.
