St. Pete Man Pleads Guilty to Stealing From Youth Football League

The 62-year-old man stole the money when he served as treasurer for the league.

A St. Petersburg man has pleaded guilty in New York to pilfering $60,000 from a youth football league, where he served as treasurer.

Charles Dunlap, 62, was convicted on a felony count of grand larceny for stealing money from the Orange County Youth Football League, TBO.com reports. He will be sentenced in September.

Between 2008-2012, Dunlap under-counted the participants in the program to the league's insurance carrier, and then kept  the difference. He has repaid more than half the amount.
