New 'Lens' Images Released
Michael Maltzan Architecture has released nine new images of the "Lens" pier design.
As members of the public, Stop the Lens and council member Wengay Newton call for the city to use updated images of the proposed "Lens" pier design, Michael Maltzan Architecture has complied.
Wednesday afternoon Maltzan, the designer of the "Lens", released nine new renderings of the "Lens' pier design that the public will vote on at the Aug. 27 primary.
At council's July 11 meeting, Newton has a new business item asking the city to halt using what he called outdated "Lens" images on city materials.
